8 Steps to change your Attitude..
If you want to maintain and build a positive attitude then please follow the upcoming steps:
Step 1: Change Focus, Look for the Positive
In life you have to change your focus and vision towards anything, whether it is a person or a thing. Look for the positive instead of bads and negative. Try to find good in peoples and nature. Always look for the bright side of the things. A glass with half full of water is what can be said?? Is it half full or half empty? You say?
Does it matter?
Of Course!
Step 2: Make a habit of doing it now
He slept beneath the moon
He basked beneath the sun
He lived a life of going to do
and died with nothing done.
- James Albery
Procrastination is a bad habit and everybody do it. Try always to do your work at appropriate time and by yourself. A completed task is awesome and exciting and an unfinished task drains energy.
Step 3: Develop an Attitude of Gratitude
Count your blessings not troubles. We are so focused on complaining about things we do not have and lose sight and importance of those things which we have. There is a lot to be thankful for.
Attitude of Gratitude does not mean complacency. It was not the message I wanted to give you. if you get that thing, I don't meant that its your selective thinking.
Step 4: Get into a continuous Education Program
For further growth you must be educated. For getting education I don't meant that enroll yourself in a institute or take a course book and start studying right now. This step means that you must develop the nature of leaning and the nature of observing. observation skills are very important, these are the skills which keep you focused and Aware. Observation is Light and Ignorance is Darkness.
I don't mean that you should not study about what you are doing or about your profession, it is also a must thing for success. But one must have the ability to learn and be educated.
Step 5: Build a positive self - esteem
What is Self Esteem?
Self Esteem is the way we feel about ourselves. When we feel good from inside our performance goes up and our professional and personal relationships improves. You know humans and animals have a direct corelation between feelings and behavior.
If you quickly want to build the self-esteem all you have to do is do something for those who did not repay you economically or in kind.
Step 6: Stay away from Negative Influences
If you are one of those who sees good as good and bad as bad then you will easily find peoples which have negative influences and they spread negative. My advice for you is to keep distance from those type of people and from those as well who down your morale. Seek positive people and spread positivity.
One reason that I don't drink is that I want to know when I am having a good time.
- Lady Aster
Be away from alcohol and bad drugs and smoking. It kills!
Step 7: Learn to like the things that need to be done
Start by doing what is necessary, then what is possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible.
- St. Francis of Assisi
Somethings needs to be done whether we like them or not. Just like mother caring for her child. It is no fun. But when we learn to do things, impossible becomes possible.
Step 8: Start and end your day with something positive and fun
Meditate, read and listen to something positive are the best ways to start your morning and you'll feel very fresh during day. Exercise daily, It keeps you fit and doing exercise during days will clarify your boredom and tiredness at once. Do it daily.
Start building your attitude towards positive. Be positive!
